Underwater Lullabies

Sing into microphone to zap monsters

An arcade game that implements voice pitch analysis to control zaps.


I made this game as part of an exploration into vocal control and pitch parsing. After singing into the microphone, the sound is analyzed and used to shoot zaps at different heights, corresponding to the vocal frequency.


The sense of urgency combined with trying to hit high and low notes made it hilarious to play with someone else.
